¿QUÉ ES UN PROMOTOR COMUNITARIO RURAL?

Un promotor/a comunitario/a rural es alguien a quien le importa su comunidad lo suficiente para tomar acción que la hace mejor. Su comunidad podría ser la ciudad entera, un vecindario, una vecindad, un proyecto, o quizás un parque.

•  And the community vision coordinator trying to create an inclusive vision where all voices are heard.
•  And the business owner who you can count on to donate to community efforts.
•  And the neighbor who always lends a hand.

Un RCB ofrece un gesto amable, hace proyectos a corto o largo plazo, los promotores comunitarios rurales ayudan a unificar a la gente, enseñan nuevas habilidades, toman medidas dirigidas por la comunidad y ayudan a crear un sentido de orgullo y valor comunitario.

WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

This is a movement that CELEBRATES, INSPIRES and CONNECTS with people and local groups building their communities’ futures in an inclusive and comprehensive way. We see challenges as opportunities to spark  positive change. You are invited to connect with fellow rural advocates to share stories, celebrate wins, reflect on challenges, ask questions, share knowledge, develop relationships, and expand and improve the pool of resources available to the rural communities of Oregon and Siskiyou County, Calif.
