Tell us a bit about what you appreciate about them as an RCB: Rick DeYoung is a former police officer, Air Force veteran and retired attorney. He is very involved in many organizations in our community. He collects cans and bottles to raise money for the Sutherlin Lion’s Club which he leads as President. He mentors local high school students, helps to coordinate the displaying of 60 flags on each holiday in Sutherlin and volunteers on the city’s emergency preparedness committee. He is an active volunteer with the Free Methodist Church and Sutherlin Visitors Center and is a leader at the Sutherlin SKP Park.
