Tell us a bit about what you appreciate about them as an RCB: Chris is a realtor, but she is more than a business person, she’s a Community Builder here in the Butte Valley Community of Siskiyou County. She brought the sales/opportunity of the now almost-vacated (circa 1908) Butte Valley State Bank building to the attention of the museum’s board of directors and suggested we turn it into a sorely needed indoor museum, visitor’s center, and community gathering place. Chris has been a tireless advocate and team leader for our Capital Fundraising Campaign committee. Gregarious and positive, with a definite east-coast quirkiness to her, she is a connector of people working hard to help us reach our $155,000 goal.
