Jim Grano is a retired educator with the Mapleton and Siuslaw school districts. Since retiring, he has developed an outdoor education program called Stream Team for youth in the Siuslaw Region https://www.siuslaw.org/stream-team/. Jim also volunteers for a number of youth-related outdoor events, including stewardship programs for kids, Siuslaw Watershed Council’s Watershed Camp, and others. He has served on the Siuslaw Watershed Council and participated in many other groups and projects that have enhanced life and experiences for all in our rural community.
