Tell us a bit about what you appreciate about them as an RCB: Joanna hosts scores of free community events and fundraisers, always with joy and pride in the community she helps to build. She not only offers her beautiful and central location for events, she actively works toward their success. She is a Rural Community Builder and an Applegate valley gem! She recently hosted a fundraiser for fire survivors, not just supplying the venue, but all the entertainment, and dinner at her cost. Early in the pandemic, she began serving dinners for free to anyone in need. Joanna runs the Applegate River Lodge, which is located in the heart of the Applegate. That is so apt because Joanna IS the heart of the Applegate!
