Tell us a bit about what you appreciate about them as an RCB: Linda give tirelessly to the community. She has written grants for the fire department for many years. Recently, most notably, Linda pursed a Community Block Grant to build a fire garage in Sitkum. Sitkum is very rural and is tucked away over a winding and at times, single lane road. It has long been a concern that the Sitkum community could end up with a fire that the trucks are unable to access because of the remote location. The garage will allow housing for trucks and equipment. Linda spends many hours working on the entire process and we anticipate the project being completed in December, 2020.
