Paul is a bottomless well of energy. Whenever he is asked to take part in something, whether a community project or another committee or board, the answer is almost always a resounding ‘yes’. He is passionate about representing his community and making sure that the voices of small, rural communities are not lost. His ongoing efforts to address so many different rural issues, from transportation to economic development, have elevated the rural perspective and experience across Central Oregon. Beyond his contributions to the community, Paul is also just a positive person to be around. The formal spaces he participates in benefit not only from his insight, but also his kindness and humor. It is a pleasure to work with him and see his steadfast dedication to the people of Metolius and rural communities.
