Tell us a bit about what you appreciate about them as an RCB: The Perry’s have been instrumental in working with our Newport community and the county whenever there was an emergency. They show up if there is a house fire to offer food and resources for the affected families. During the Echo Mountain fires they helped to provide food and worked at the evacuation shelter. They helped provide not just food but resources for clothing and help for families. They offer after school programs for youth and started a local food pantry serving those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. They expanded the food pantry to north county with a food distribution once a week. During Christmas they make sure that those in need receive gifts and food. They work very hard and are always positive.
