Tell us a bit about what you appreciate about them as an RCB: Tina has worked tirelessly to bring CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) back to Lake County. For several years, Lake was the only county in the state without a CASA program, which meant kids had no one advocating on their behalf in court. Tina would be the first to say she had help bringing the program back, but she’s the real spark that made this happen. Thanks to her, CASA returned to Lake County in 2020, and the program has recruited its first volunteers. Tina is a model of persistence and passion.
