Tell us a bit about what you appreciate about them as an RCB: Amy has served her community as a City Councilor, and co-founder of Citizens4Community, a nonprofit organization fostering a connected community through civility, collaboration, and civic engagement. She is a tireless advocate for connecting people from all backgrounds and interests. She represents C4C on the Sisters Country Vision Implementation Team, which oversees the implementation of our local Vision plan. Early in the Vision process, she coordinated a quilt project where local residents’ values and hopes were recorded on squares of a quilt that has now been hung in City Hall. While she is the mother of a teenager with special needs, she makes time to inform and engage others as we collectively build a community that can address challenges and opportunities.
